Stephen Svanholm gained his Bachelors Degree in Music at the University of Surrey, before going on to do postgraduate opera training at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester. Prior to his study of classical music he was lead guitarist with a British rock group, releasing two CDs and touring Europe and the USA.

After singing professionally for 15 years he went on to start several ventures in the world of opera. Together with Marcin Kopec he founded and built the online singers’ platform and information service The Opera Stage (which has now been acquired by Classical Singer Magazine/CS Music), and founded Svanholm Kopec Artist Management in London.

Svanholm Artists Management, based in Stockholm, Sweden, was founded in late 2018.
