Dara Savinova sings in Bach’s *Mass in B minor* at Montreal Bach Festival

Estonian mezzo Dara Savinova sings alto and soprano 2 solo in J.S.Bach’s Mass in B minor at the Montreal Bach Festival in Canada on the 22nd and 23rd November 2024.

The Festival Bach Montreal Choir & Orchestra are conducted by Leonardo García Alarcón.
The concert takes place at the Palais Montcalm in Quebec City, with a second concert tomorrow evening at the Maison Symphonique in Montreal.

Dara Savinova is already an experienced international singer. She is a graduate of the Zurich Opera Studio, and has gone on to sing on stages such as the Bregenzer Festspiele, Theatre Champs Elysées, Zurich Opera and Royal Swedish Opera. She returns to Stockholm’s opera house in the new year as Rosina in Rossini’s evergreen Il Barbiere di Siviglia.
