Hamida Kristoffersen sings Kate Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly for Bregenzer Festspiele

Norwegian soprano Hamida Kristoffersen sings the role of Kate Pinkerton in Puccini’s Madama Butterfly this Summer for Bregenzer Festspiele in Austria.

This year’s festival sees Hamida returning in the role. The Wiener Symphony Orchestra are conducted by Musical Director Enrique Mazzola, and the stage director is Andreas Homoki.

Hamida Kristoffersen, who lives in Copenhagen, was a member of the Opera Studio at Zurich Opera, and then went on to sing as part of the ensemble there from 2015-19.
