Kari Koskinen sings Weihnachtoratorium with Dalasinfoniettan

Mezzo soprano Kari Koskinen is one of the soloists in J.S.Bach’s Weihnachtsoratorium with the Dalasinfoniettan orchestra in Ludvika and Falun this weekend.

Dalasinfoniettan, Dalasinfoniettan’s Choir and Falu Kristine Church Choir are led by Claire Levacher.

The first concert is at 7pm on the 6th December at Folkets Hus in Ludvika, and the second concert at 3pm on the 7th December at Falu Kristine Church in Falun, Dalarna.

Kari hails from Dalarna herself, from the small town of Bjursås. She is a graduate of Opera Department at the Stockholm University of Arts, and has already sung two roles at the Royal Swedish Opera. In the Spring of 2025 she sings 3rd Lady in Mozarts Die Zauberflöte at Folkoperan in Stockholm.
